Personality: Vae is a happy, carefree sun kitten who loves to make people around her smile. She is quite the hard worker, taking a passion in whatever job she chooses. If she is presented with a challenge she meets it head on mostly out of spite. Vae also will be quick to snap back at you if you step out of line. She is a sweet kitten who would love to roll in the sun with you but is not afraid to use you as a scratching post. She is extremely protective of those around her thanks to being raised by two very protective brothers.Background: Vae currently doesn’t know much of her past. She awoke two years ago in the streets of Ul'dah to be found by a viera named Zelkov with no memory of who she was. Zelkov took her in and let her be his shadow in his own adventures which allowed her to safely find a path of her own. She has always thrived in the entertainment industry of Eorzea which leads her to believe that she did something like that in the past.Vae is very curious about her past,however, she has no desire to make it a challenge to remember it. For her, the present and the future are all she strives for. When she watched what happened to Tsuyu in her Stormblood travels, she became slightly frightened of learning about her own past. However, as she has learned to give herself a new identity she sticks with the teaching of the kami that she learned in Kugane. To Vae, the kami will reveal her past to her when she is ready.Strengths:Vae was gifted with an overabundance of aether that if not controlled by her carbuncle gets out of hand. As a result of this she is quite the empath and has a sixth sense of when something is wrong. As a result she mastered the art of summoning first followed by many other jobs that gave her an excuse to use and manipulate her aether.Vae is also an easy kitty to talk to, a strength she has been told to never take for granted. She is naturally curious of those she crosses paths with and does her absolute best to make them comfortable in her presence.She has this uncanny ability to not give up. Whether it is what seems like an impossible boss fight to learning a new job in the club scene she has a tenacity to keep going no matter what. This made her an excellent cheerleader and gifted her the title of “hype kitty" when she explored the club scene.Weaknesses:If her aether isn’t controlled Vae does find herself quite combative and distant. Her divorce has caused her to suddenly have an issue with deep trust and love as she doesn’t understand what she could’ve possibly done wrong.Because she has slight abandonment issues Vae has the weakness of going with the flow of things regardless of whether it is what she wants or not. She will sometimes put others feelings before her own wellbeing.After a series of heartbreaks Vae doesn't just have a hard time trusting but loving as well. She is currently struggling with loving herself putting herself in the not best of situations as punishment.What is Vae doing now?
Vae is currently going through something she didn't expect: a string of bad relationships. As a result it has caused to be more distant than she has been in the past as well as less trusting of those who want to get close to her. However, Vae doesn't want to let her heartbreak dim the light she is known and loved so well for.When Vae is not out adventuring she can be found enjoying the quiet of her teahouse in Shirogane. She misses the night life scene of clubs but she knows she isn't ready for that yet. She has become an avid dyemonger and enjoys weaving clothes. She also dabbles in tarot reading happily serving those who have interest in astrology.She is also very curious about exploring her possible Doman roots. She has mastered the ninja class and is wanting to work on samurai next. She allies herself with the Sekiseigumi.

Slowburn romance is preferred though I can't control Vae's heart. I just know at the moment she will be fighting those feelings so who knows I might actually get that slow burn I've so desperately wanted? She is full of heartbreak so there will be the drama and I apologize for that. Despite her cute appearance Vae is a fighter and is not afraid to join her companion on the battlefield.Is your character morally grey or a villian? Falling in love with a Sekiseigumi samurai? Most of her free time is spent in Kugane. Perhaps she bumps into your character, a samurai, and they strike a conversation? This has the potential to open up more of her secret past.2. After the events of Stormblood, Vae chose to help volunteer in helping rid Doma of any remaining imperials threatening the peace she fought so hard to help bring about. Perhaps you are one of those ronin she was sent to hunt? You are confused by something so small being sent to hunt you but you are also curious how something so small looks so broken.3. A patron that walks into her tea house and that is how they meet? This is a very much an opener idea and can be expanded on.4. In Vae's lore she had a deep relationship with Tsuyu in Stormblood. After the events of Tsuyu you stumble across Vae and wonder how she could possibly side with such a person? (I left this kinda vague to avoid spoilers)5. You are visiting a brothel and spot Vae, a court, catches your eye. But she does more than capture your eye, she captures your heart as well. However, you found out Vae follows one rule strictly and that she refuses to fall in love with a customer. But you are determined to show her that you are more than a customer and she is more than a court.
